Be Blue For the Holidays

I remember one day I was sitting on the couch and while I was watching the show I notice that the star of the show had the bluest blue eyes I had ever seen in my life.  I was a bit envious of the way her eyes sparkled in the right light and wondered what it would take for me to have those same blue eyes.  Back then I didn’t know about fashion coloured contact lenses or how simple it was to take the eye colour that I had and transform it into something more distinct and different.  I soon learned that I could have whatever eye colour I desired, and the prospect of such a thing truly excited me.  I never knew that simply donning a pair of design colour contact lenses could totally change my eye colour and my appearance.  It was so simple and made such a difference that I soon explored many of the options I had to play around with my eye colour and look.

For me though, the deep sea blue that I could get from the right pair of lenses always seems to win out.   I love the way it softens my face and gives me a totally different look.  And there are so many shades of blue that I can decide between that depending on my mood, I can totally change up what I decide to do and what I decide to wear.  All in all I personally have two favorites, I absolutely love the Cool Blue fashion contact lenses with their deep blue colour and the thick black outline around the rim seems to give my eyes much more definition.  I like the dimensions that these lenses give me and the colour is absolutely breathtaking.  To me, it’s like looking into the deep sea, crystal blue and clear.

Another pair that I really enjoy is the ColourVue Blue Glamour contact lenses.  Similar to the Cool Blue, they also sport a darker blue with a thick line around the rim but the blue of this pair is a little more toward the violet/blue neighborhood and I think they go really well when I am trying to be just a little bit more daring or spicy.  I love the way they get people’s attention and spark conversation.  It’s never a bad thing to have something to start conversations with new friends and these design coloured contact lenses tend to fit the bill. 

This is the right time of the year for me to be thinking about which fashion coloured contacts to get for those around me.  I find that they are a very easy holiday present and one that I have quite a variety to choose from.  I know that for many I will tend to go back to my favorites and get some of the one tone, two tone, or three tone bluecoloured contacts, but there are many others for me to think through too.  It’s a great option for those on my holiday gift list, and of course, always a great option for me too.
